A rogaine is a foot travel race in which participants use a map and compass to locate checkpoints scattered through out an area. There is no preset course and racers are free to choose the route that they prefer. The goal is to locate as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit or the most points if checkpoints are assigned different point values.
Looking for something new to do with friends or family? Join us for a team (2-5 person) event a lot like a scavenger hunt or geocaching.
This is a race in which your team looks for checkpoint flags in the woods. Flags are placed near the trail or on other noticeable features. Using a high quality map your team locates these flags and punches a little card known as a passport.
This is NOT a relay as your team stays together the whole time within 30 meters of each other. Scoring is simple: The team with the most checkpoints in the least amount of time wins. If you aren't feeling competitive, just do it for fun!
